The company has a strong distribution network and point of sale coverage through it's over 90 manufacturing facilities across 23 states and 3 union territories in India.   The company is also taking huge steps in leading the industry to demonstrate the highest standards of corporate citizenship like the Road to Safety and Water Management initiatives.   The company is listed on the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange).   Qualification: MBA-Marketing   Job Description/ Key Responsibilities :   - Statistical forecasting & Demand Management specialist to analyze the drivers of demand in order to generate a forecast for a particular category.  - Manage the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with regions by balancing supply and demand while challenging the regions to provide realistic forecasts.   - To create and monitor process KPIs and diagnostics to assure continual improvement efforts.  Context/ Scope of the position on various dimensions:  A) Financial:  Forecast the demand for particular category in terms of volume and net sales value and product mix to drive supply chain activities for long term horizon  B) Market Complexity:  Liquor in India is a state-subject. Every state has different policies and RTMs (Route to market). Generating accurate forecast at state-level is hence important to enable supply team to meet required customer service level targets.  C) Decision Making:  - Develop and measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate forecasts made, to assist in assessing the effectiveness of the demand planning & forecasting function, and work towards continuous improvement  - The Demand Planner will need to challenge bottom-up field sales forecasts provided by regions by discerning exceptional differences between volume trends, financial targets, and various causal factors.  - The Demand Planner will need to resolve situations where sales regions have exceeded product allocation targets or have unfulfilled their allocated goods sales targets.   D) Immediate Focus:  - Manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, which provides a vehicle for evaluating, and determining future business decisions by reconciling demand to supply.  - Operate closely with the sales team to improve forecast accuracy.  - Work closely with Supply Planners to identify and resolve exceptional changes in the forecast and anticipate their needs to communicate changes in the forecast across the Supply Chain.  - In-depth understanding of relevant demand drivers and how to apply the appropriate forecasting method to predict their impact in the ongoing forecast   Top 3-5 Accountabilities of the Position:  - Improvement in Forecast accuracy  - 100% compliance to USL standards and USL Code of conduct  - Relationship with USL cross functional team  3-5 Critical Competencies Required:  - Thorough understanding of S&OP process  - Excellent MS Excel skills  - Excellent data management skills  - Ability to build good relationship with people.  Please mention the below details in the cover letter while applying:   Current CTC:  Expected CTC:  Notice Period:  Willingness to relocate to Bangalore:
