Title: Unit IR Head Location: Gopalpur (Ganjam), Orissa About Role:- This role has a core focus on Industrial Relations, supporting the development and delivery of Employee Relations strategies. A high caliber individual with energy, resilience and strong relationship management ability who will bring ideas and experience of new ways of doing things. Tasked with changing and modernizing behaviors and building positive relationships with incumbent management. He/she will be used to difficult negotiations using strong stakeholder management experience to build momentum and positive change. Robust, motivated and determined, the individual will have a clear passion for the area with the ability to operate successfully in a complex business. Job Description:- - Support and guide Field HR Team in roll-out and implementation of systems and policies at the unit. - Grievances Handling of employees in order to maintain smooth relations. - Own and maintain key documents and database for the unit. - Accountable for monitoring and maintenance of all legal compliances for the unit. - Monitor employee relations for blue-collar; coordinate and implement policy related matters; - Champion the embedding of a compliance culture within the unit; - Ensure the maintenance of harmonious and conducive Industrial Relations. Guide and lead the management in negotiations with unions and settlements along with Industrialist Specialist - Access learning requirements and Drive upskilling programmes. - Support capability development for unit employees in partnership with Talent CoE - Devise a strategy for local engagement activities or roll out of Pan India / region engagement initiatives. - Support Plant Head for inputs to facilitate Talent Reviews, career management, and succession planning. - Participate in the Selection Process for unit employees as per process. - Support in the implementation of employee reward programs like increments, variable pay plans, performance-linked plans etc. - Ensure error-free payroll processing with the vendor. - Facilitate roll out of workforce engagement initiatives like Disha. - Manage workforce wellness and benefits incl. Canteen, Transportation, Health etc. - Drive CSR and Community Engagement Program
