Primary Responsibilities:
Recruitment for assigned departments:
- Take end-to-end responsibility of HR processes for the Unit with special focus on Recruitment
- Keep abreast of recruitment requirements in the departments of the Unit.
- Ensure that all recruitment is in alignment with Approved Manpower Plan.
- Take ownership of Candidate Search using Portals, Employee Referral and reducing Consultants to save on increasing cost.
- Coordinate with Candidates to manage the selection process.
- Communicate job offer to Candidates. Take help from HR Operation for closing positions from Executive & above.
Joining of employees in assigned departments:
- Coordination with Corporate HR Operation
Training & Development:
- Assist Capability Development team for identifying the training needs .
- Plan Group Training Programs for different Teams in discussion with respective HODs and Unit Head.
- Monitor completion of Training Programs as per plan.
- Training Calendar
- Post training evaluation.
- Knowledge sharing programs.
MIS (Monthly basis):
- To prepare HR MIS for all Unit functions & send to HR Operation every month.
- Action plan based on MIS
HR Process:
- Inculcate a sense of CSR.
- TPM implementation.
- Job Rotation/ Unit Rotation as per directives of Operation Head/ Unit Head.
- Policy/ Process formulation and implementation in association with Corporate HR.
Employee Engagement Activities:
- Suggestion scheme on yearly basis & reward system.
- Plan with respective HODs of Unit on different Employee Engagement, Reward & Recognition Activities
- Manage Employee engagement activities of the Unit.
Statutory & Compliance:
- Ensure timely return submission of PF, ESI and other statutes.
- Liaison with Government bodies for renewal of Licenses (Factory, Pollution etc) as applicable.
- Negotiation with Unions and addressing Labor related issues.
- Maintain Industrial harmony in the Unit.
- Initiating disciplinary actions, issuing notice (warning/ show cause etc.) as and when need arrives.
Unit Administration:
- Ensuring proper Canteen facilities.
- Attendance for workers & staff.
- Facilitate visit of Factory Inspector & other such Government Officials.
- Optimum utilization of Unit vehicle ensuring low fuel wastage.
- Monitoring upkeep of Unit Guest house.
- Ensure proper Housekeeping of the Unit.
Other HR Activities:
- To run the Payroll every month and coordinate with Corporate HR in case of any ambiguity
- Retention plans of key employees & champion developments within the Unit
- Establish clear account abilities at each level who are not entitled to KPI, KRA etc.
- J.D. review for all departments at Unit.
- Attrition analysis for the Unit.
Key Result Areas:

- Timely completion of PMS
- Employee grievance handling
Minimum Requirements
Level of Education: MBA (HR & IR)/ Post Graduation Diploma (HR & IR)/ PGD in Personnel Management/ LLB
Experience Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the field of HR 2-3 years of experience in similar role
