Opening for Unit Head - SME Credit & Marketing Regional Corporate

1) Minimum of 8 years of post MBA work experience

2) Bachelor Degree/CA/MBA/MSC

3) Understanding and mastery of the skills or attributes of a team leader

Principal Accountabilities :

- To lead the team towards achieving the unit objectives by developing new and existing business, maintaining portfolio quality and regular reviews.

- Manage, conduct and develop account relationship with the portfolio of accounts assigned.

- Manage, administer and monitor utilization of credit facilities in SME & Corporate accounts and maintain the quality of risk assets.

- Conducting periodic review of credit files and reports. Preparation/ renewal of credit lines, presentation to appropriate authorities for approval and upon approval advice the customer/Credit Administration and other operational units/branches.

- Documentation / updating of securities, security valuations, renewals of insurance policies and ensure safe keeping of security documents.

- Follow up with the team for regularization of past dues, temporary accommodations and excesses over limits.

- Supervision of all procedural work and submission of returns and other data relating to the allocated portfolio for purpose of reviews and audit.

- Co-ordination of customer activities with different departments of the Bank.

- Regular visits to clients for inspection of business, liaison with owners and development of business prospect.

- Ensure Optimum channel utilization.

- Mobilisation of new business (both assets and liabilities) and cross sell Bank's products.

- Work out remedial solutions for 'SM' and Classified accounts under the portfolio, with a view to monitor and regularize the accounts to prevent further provisions

- Training and development of core and supporting skills and knowledge of self and reporting staffs

- Any other responsibility that may be assigned.

Personnel Specifications :

- Bachelor Degree/CA/MBA/MSC with minimum of 8 Years experience in a related field.

- Understanding and mastery of the skills or attributes of a team leader

- Experience as Senior Manager handling credit responsibilities in Bank/Financial Institution.

- Good communication skills (written/spoken) in English language.

- Computer literate - Word, Excel, Power Point, and Internet.

- Good Interpersonal relations with pleasing personality.
