Qualifications, Work Experience & Skills
Candidate must:
- Possess a Graduation degree in Commerce/ Finance/ Banking/ Business Administration (Desirable: Post-Graduate in Business Administration)
- Possess minimum 5 years' post qualification work experience, preferably in Credit Relationship/ Credit Administration in a Bank.
- Have expertise in financial analysis, cash flow analysis and strong analytical skills
- Have ability to analyze situations, strategize and select best course of action.
- Have Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills in English
- Have Good working knowledge of MS Office, fair understanding of Core Banking System environment etc.
- Be a highly self-motivated individual, equally capable of performing individually and as a team member.
Principal Accountabilities
- To formulate and implement Strategies to effectively manage, control and reduce the Non-Performing Assets Portfolio of Overseas Branches (Saudi Arabia & Kuwait).
- To install an early detection mechanism for delinquent accounts & furnish timely information to all concerned departments and Management Team.
- To provide management on regular basis trend analysis of the portfolio and recommend credit measures to be applied.
- To recommend appropriate steps for recovery of delinquent accounts and ensure action / follow up including strengthening of security and legal action where necessary.
- Meet with clients and negotiate for recovery / settlement / rescheduling of classified delinquent accounts.
- Preparation of write-off / legal action / settlement proposals for approval of management / Board.
- Ascertain assets / income of recalcitrant borrowers.
- Liaise with Legal Department and Bank's Lawyers to discuss cases under litigation.
- To arrange sale of mortgaged / Acquired properties of delinquent borrowers by liaising with real estate agents or other means.
- Submit progress reports and periodic reviews and other MIS to the Management in respect of recoveries and status of the delinquent accounts including adequacy of loan loss provisions.
- Document policies and procedures to serve as a road-map for the day-to-day operations.
