Role: VP, Engineering

Responsibilities :

- Own Engineering function for all Unilodgers platforms, including third party integrations

- Lead strategy, planning, and execution with the Engineering team to meet customer requirements

- Work closely with Product and Functional stakeholders to align with business prioritization

- Employ Agile methodologies to continuously deliver value to customers

- Institute development best practices to ensure the team produces high quality, well-architected, and supportable code. Work to enable a Continuous Integration environment and cross-training within the team

- Plan and manage development sprints and ensure quality and speed of development and output, while keeping tech debt to a minimum

- Be a technical subject matter expert and represent full internal and external capabilities of the platform

- Lead talent management including hiring, developing, and retaining a world-class team

- Deploy market best practices and drive data driven decision making

Requirement & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience with 4+ years of Tech. leadership experience in high-growth Consumer Internet

- Ability to direct the technology roadmap in sync with strategy and growth plans

- Hands-on experience developing complex web-based systems based on modern tech stack

- Ability to roll your sleeves up and get into coding, and troubleshooting for the team

- Expertise in AWS, agile software development processes, continuous integration, test automation, and tools like Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and Jira

- Highly analytical with the ability to think first principles. Has excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions based on business needs.

- Should have sound understanding of design architecture and principles, coding frameworks like react.js, node.js, express.js, redux etc.
