Unilodgers is the world's first and largest marketplace for student housing. We are headquartered in San Francisco, California, and have offices in the US, UK, India, and Australia. Using technology, talent, and some lateral thinking, we bridge the gap between over 5 million students and their ideal student housing, every year. With a supply of over 1.5 million student rooms across the US, UK, Ireland, and Australia already, we plan to expand to other countries in the coming year.

Unilodgers is disrupting the $500 billion student housing market to solve the housing needs that come with global student mobility. We have grown exponentially in the last three years and recently raised Series A funding of $15 million from the world's top marquee investors, Lightspeed Venture Partners (VC Fund) and Lumis Partners (Private Equity Fund). Role: AVP, Product

Responsibilities :

- Own Product development roadmap, prioritization and strategy for all Unilodgers platforms

- Manage Product development sprints in close conjunction with Functional stakeholders and Engineering teams

- Develop clear and detailed Product Requirement Documents for Technology team to implement

- Work closely with design team to develop mock-ups and wireframes of features and enhancements. Knowledge of design tools like Adobe Illustrator and Figma preferred

- Project Management feature development and key projects, keeping stakeholders apprised of progress, roadblocks and delays

- Manage implementation and timelines for all projects with Engineering team

- Identify opportunities and gaps to inform the most critical projects for Product and Technology

- Take a comprehensive A/B testing approach to feature and UI rollouts

- Stay abreast of best in class practices on UX and Product

Requirement & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience of managing Product in a high-growth Consumer Internet context.

- Preferably from a computer science background

- Ability to direct Product roadmap in sync with strategy and growth plans

- Agile Approach: Iterative approach to product development with a focus on building and testing well-research hypothesis over silver bullet answers

- Ability to design wireframes and mockups, and take a data driven UX approach

- Sound project management capability, taking full ownership of quality and speed of delivery with engineering team

- Obsession for technology and customer centricity

- Ideally, knowledge of SQL to be able to independently track data and outcomes
