Vice President Sales, for a proposed AMC (mutual fund) entity of Unifi Capital

Group Profile: Unifi Capital, established in 2001 as a registered portfolio manager, currently manages over Rs.20,000cr on behalf of about 10,000 Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) clients across 22 states in India.

Desired Profile:

- MBA from a reputed B-School / CA / CFA / CFP and AMFI Certification

- Minimum of 10+ years of sales experience in mutual funds / wealth management or SEBI-regulated PMS/AIF

- Good knowledge of equity & fixed income products & mutual fund regulatory environment.

- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

- Strong attention to detail, exceptional leadership and people management skills, and prior experience in leading a team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Developing & implementing a comprehensive sales strategy for our mutual funds, expanding and promoting the distribution network through various channels, and collaborating with fund management, operations, compliance, and other departments to achieve organizational goals.

- Develop strategies to acquire direct clients in target markets and create an engagement plan to drive sales and increase market share.

- Lead the sales department by providing guidance, support, and direction to the sales team, including overseeing their activities, monitoring their performance, and providing coaching and mentoring as needed.

- Regularly visit and communicate with institutional clients and all categories of distributors across India to maintain strong relationships, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement in the sales, marketing, and servicing aspects of the business.

- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, distribution channels, and partnership opportunities to expand the reach of the mutual funds and enhance the competitive positioning of the organization.

- Represent the fund at industry conferences, client meetings, and other relevant events to promote the organization and its mutual funds and to stay current on industry trends and developments.

Compensation: As per industry standards with potential for significant performance-based upside.
