Key Responsibilities:

Policy and Procedure Development:

- Playing an active role in Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate compliance risks.

Regulatory Compliance

- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement best practices.

- Identify areas for enhancement, and monitor changes in SEBI regulations. Provide inputs to Compliance Head and proactively address emerging compliance issues.

- Collaborate with internal departments, including legal, risk management, and operations, to address compliance-related matters. Implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Provide compliance training and guidance to employees to enhance awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements.

Legal matters

- Providing internal legal advice and guidance on a wide range of regulatory and legal matters.

- Reviewing and drafting contracts with careful consideration of legal and regulatory risks.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in law from a Tier-1 college, or Chartered Accountant (CA), or other professional qualifications.

- 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the financial services sector.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and legal frameworks applicable to the industry.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
