Job Overview:
As a Field Sales Head or Director Business Development at Unacademy, you will lead a team of field sales representatives and be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective field sales strategies. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base, building strong relationships, and ensuring the success of our field sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of field sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
2. Sales Strategy:- Develop and implement field sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
3. Market Analysis:- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive factors in the designated territory.
4. Territory Management:- Effectively allocate and manage resources, territories, and accounts to optimize sales performance.
5. Customer Engagement:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, educational institutions, and stakeholders in the assigned territory.
6. Sales Training:- Provide training and development opportunities for the field sales team to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.
7. Sales Process Optimization:- Streamline and optimize the field sales process to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Performance Metrics:- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the field sales team.
9. Sales Reporting:- Prepare regular reports and updates on field sales performance and present findings to senior management.
10. Cross-functional Collaboration:- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
11. Revenue Growth:- Drive revenue growth through customer acquisition, upselling, and retention strategies within the assigned territory.
