Position Overview: As the AVP-Growth of sales at Unacademy, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing effective sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the success of the sales function at Unacademy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Identify market opportunities, assess competition, and formulate plans to achieve sales targets. Continuously analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

2. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team goals. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing sales team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

3. Revenue Generation: Drive sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets. Monitor sales metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to optimize performance. Identify and pursue new customer acquisition opportunities.

4. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, coaching centers, and individual learners. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and provide exceptional service. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

5. Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the education and e-learning industry. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and recommend appropriate actions. Provide insights on market dynamics and customer preferences.

6. Sales Operations: Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. Implement sales automation tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Streamline sales workflows and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other internal teams, such as marketing, product, and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Provide inputs to product development and marketing strategies based on customer insights and market feedback.

8. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain sales performance metrics and dashboards. Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for sales performance improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus.

- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the education or e-learning industry.

- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, strategies, and industry best practices.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies.

- Familiarity with sales automation tools and CRM systems.
