Summary:
- Support to the senior leadership team in the formulation of business strategy, business plan, budget and target setting by providing relevant data analysis & information
- Support the CFO and business heads to conduct the review of the individual branches, cluster and the region wise performance
- Ensure the documentation of existing business processes, drive improvements to the existing business processes, develop and review new business processes as per the strategic goals of Ujjivan.
Primary Responsibilities: Business- Prepare a draft business plan with annual targets by consolidation of product wise and region wise targets and provide it to CFO for discussion with leadership
- Review the progress against targets on a periodic basis and prepare reports on the target achievements.
- Prepare capital and revenue budgets in coordination with the respective departments and present to Senior Management
- Consolidate Regional Budgets basis inputs received from various regional managers
- Prepare and submit, branch & region review reports and other performance reports for evaluation and review to the board of directors
- Continuously scan the market environment on the performance of peer banks on Ujjivan's focus regions and various customer segments; provide strategic information to the MD & CEO and senior leadership.
- Collect inputs from the Managing Director and the Board of Directors on the branch expansion plan
- Review the number of branches to be opened as per the business plan and coordinate with concerned teams for the opening of branches as against the targets set.
- Work closely with IT team and BI implementation team for implementation/customizations required in the IT platforms which are required based on Ujjivan's needs
Customer- Work alongside the Regional Financial Analyst to track competition and analyze market intelligence
- Distribute Ujjivan related information to various stakeholders including rating agencies, MIX, MFIN, Mudra etc. and to team members
Internal Process
- Build a top level, forecasting model to analyze current business
- Provide necessary financial analysis reports to the senior leadership team and various business heads within the specified timelines.
- Conduct Branch Profitability analysis for all regions; prepare branch wise rankings across regions based on report cards
- Prepare monthly MIS for board highlighting the key achievements of all departments
- Conduct Business Review- Monthly business & financial performance analysis, detailed income expense variance analysis, analysis of performance against the budget in Ujjivan level
- Coordinate implementation of the branch expansion process changes and new procedures as per planned timelines with Regional Financial Analysts.
- Ensure adherence to all new business processes and process changes are in line with the guidelines prescribed by the RBI and other regulatory bodies.
Learning & Performance
- Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self.
- Ensure goal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal process happen within specified timelines for self.
