Udaan - Risk Analytics Role

Job Responsibilities

- Analytical articulation of a business or operations problem statement.

- Digging into data to unravel the complexity of the problem and identifying the broad contours of potential solution(s).

- Simulating the solution either through historic data or through real-world experiments to validate potential solutions.

- Rolling out identified solutions in partnership with business, operations and tech teams.

- Supporting the solution post roll-out on an ongoing basis

Functional Competencies:

- Analytical thinking and Quantitative aptitude: Demonstrate Analytical thinking, problem-solving attitude and a high level of comfort with numbers.

- Strong foundations in statistical methods.

- Fetching and manipulating large data sets using SQL / Hive.

- Analysing and visualizing large data sets: R /python.

- Attention to detail: High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy & completeness.

- Collaborative skills and Stakeholder management: Ability to work successfully with multiple teams and stakeholders.

- Communication skills: Excellent Communication - both verbal and written.

Candidate Profile

- Must have 2-6 of work experience in a fast-paced start-up or as an entrepreneur and hold an engineering/ math/ physics/ statistics degree from a top-tier school.

- Preferred work experience in working in ecommerce industry or financial services (banking / NBFC).

- Experience in analytics projects & articulating analytical problems with reasonable assumptions.

- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders and prioritizing tasks at hand.
