Udaan - Lead - Business Finance - CA/IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS

Job Purpose:

- This is a Business partnering role that involves close collaboration with Business multi-functional team.

- As Business Finance Manager, you will be anchoring the financial integrity & compliance by way of influencing & providing direction towards right business decisions that enable profitable business growth. with the wider business. You will be doing this basis impeccable financial data reports, business insights, financial analysis and collaborative engagement. The role is critical for the business performance and would require the incumbent to create a competitive business advantage for the team and the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1) AOP :

- Lead Annual Operating Business Plan for the region, drilling it down to weekly/daily plans at a city/Pincode level.

- Lead engagements with regional business heads & category heads on development of plans & its delivery

- Establish and Control budget heads; drive financial discipline in the region

- Provide a systematized reporting of financial data for comparative analysis to plans

- Act as a bridge between the regional business team & central HQ finance for faster decision making/alignments

2) Business Strategy :

- Lead strategic thinking on business expansion into new verticals/regions.

- Own expansion planning into new states/cities, leading the end-to-end analysis of expansion economics & viability.

- Collaborate with Business Development & Supply chain team towards the operationalization of plans.

3) P&L delivery :

- Partner with Region/Circle business head to deliver P&L metrics

- Lead various kinds of analysis to drive revenue, portfolio mix, channel mix etc.

- Problem-solving: The role needs the individual to be able to solve for a given business problem in sometimes an ambiguous state and with multiple data streams impacting decision making

- Data-driven/ analytical: The role requires the individual to be comfortable in processing and analyzing volume of multiple data streams to enable meeting company targets.

- Collaborative skills: The role requires the incumbent to work closely and coordinate with the Internal and external teams to create success. S/he should be able to seamlessly navigate these relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment.

- Results orientation: The role is required to work on deliver on daily numbers, short-term goals and long-term milestones set by business and efficacy. Meeting these milestones would be critical to create success.

Qualifications and Experience:

- C.A./MBA from top tier institute with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, of which minimum 2 years of business finance/FP&A experience is mandatory.
