Responsibilities: - Work with Category Head to develop strategy for a vertical and develop deep understanding of the numerous variables driving business and leverage those to create multiple views for creating actionable plans for the biz teams - In-depth analysis of the overall financial and operational performance (Financial, Operational, Marketing, Sales, etc.), identify red flags if any and propose ways to bridge them (Learning, Process &amp; other Initiatives). - Own analytics initiatives required to solve problem areas and proactively leverage data and insights to inform decision making, while proactively exploring avenues for deployment of analytics solutions - Engaging with suppliers, negotiating and implementing cost savings opportunities - Leverage existing data from various aspects of the business such as like sales, logistics as well as external data (via channel partners and other sources) in conjunction with clickstream data to identify, translate and publish insights to a cross-functional group of stakeholders - Own the execution of plans made from analytical exercises to ensure findings are actioned upon and continuous feedback is collected and utilized to fine-tune the approach - Actively engage and participate to work closely with the Financial Operations team. Bring closure with accurate reconciliation between Management MIS, Org P&amp;L and Operational Dashboards. - Lead/ participate and actively drive new initiatives and pilots (standardization, automation projects with the relevant Product/ Tech teams for process improvement and execution efficiency - Establishing a controls framework for the business and continuous monitoring of the controls leading to minimising risks for the business - Building and managing a team - Managing working capital and capital requirements for the business Must-haves : - Very strong problem solving, problem structuring and quantitative abilities - Strong communication, analytical and inter-personal skills - Strong Financial modeling and Data Visualization skills - Heavy stakeholder management experience. This role requires a lot of cross-functional working and engagement with senior leaders - Knowledge of financial statements
