Supply planner translates business strategy into executable processes and proactively identifies the need for new processes. This role will manage Inventory Replenishment processes to deliver industry-best performance in inventory management KPIs (Out-of-stock-, inventory levels, etc). This role will also be responsible for building and creating systems and process around Inventory management for the category in Food business for PAN India. Key Responsibilities : - Complete Understanding of end-to-end supply chain and complex modelling of workflows for Category - Provide specific cost reduction and waste removal opportunities within and across categories and external support teams - Build and create systems and processes around managing inventory. - Identify and articulate strategic importance of metrics as a basis for managing trade-offs, improving the customer experience and making decisions with internal and external stakeholders - Identify opportunities to enhance relationships and drive EDI & systemic processes with key or strategic vendors - Work closely with vendor leadership and/or operations senior leaders on strategies to reduce cost, lead time, and waste across the end-to-end supply chain - Deliver maximum product availability in the category ensuing healthy inventory level and optimal supply chain set-up - Drive system/process improvements working with technical teams, vendor operations, and inventory management. - Be solution-oriented & integrate strong and clear data analysis and business rationale into sound decision making and problem solving Functional & Competencies : - Problem solving : The role needs the individual to be able to solve for a given business problem in sometimes an ambiguous state and with multiple data streams impacting decision making - Data driven / analytical : The role requires the individual to be comfortable in processing and analysing volume of multiple data streams to enable meeting company targets. - Collaborative skills : The role requires the incumbent to work closely and coordinate with the Internal and external teams to create success.
