Udaan is a B2B ecommerce platform that brings traders, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and manufacturers in India on to a single platform. Our goal is to make 'doing business' easy in India & make B2B commerce convenient and efficient.

Udaan Capital is the NBFC arm of Udaan & offers credit services to buyers and sellers on and off Udaan's B2B ecommerce platform to grow their business further. This space is largely untapped with less than 10% of MSMEs having access to working capital loans from financial institutions. In this way, Udaan is uniquely positioned to formalize & scale trade credit.

Job Responsibilities :

- Build the supply side of the new-age NBFC by cultivating and growing new relationships with multiple stakeholders

- Develop and manage relationships with Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions and other stakeholders

- Explore and structure transactions with various kinds of financial institutions

- Assist in preparation and submission of information requests from existing and potential lenders

- Attend to queries/clarifications from banks/financial institutions on time

- Structure and lead the negotiations on the term sheets with the lenders

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders like legal and treasury for smooth and timely execution of deals

- Assist in financial planning and building operations for the DCM function

Functional Competencies :

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels of financial institutions including top management

- Eagerness to build a business practice from scratch and willingness to work in an unstructured environment

- High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy & completeness

- Experience in handling banking relationships and working with legal and treasury departments

- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

- Given the nature of business and overall size of the team, the person will be expected to help in other areas as required

Candidate Profile:

- CA / MBA - Finance from a Premier Institution.

- Should have 5-7 years of experience in financial services industry preferably in areas of relationship management and banking
