We are looking for a young enterprising leader as Finance Controller for udaan Capital. The incumbent will be responsible for the business- financial and fiscal management aspects, providing leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts. Responsibilities: 1) Financial reporting : - Responsible for accounting and financial systems, 100% statutory compliance and timely, adequate controls and accurate book-keeping - Prepare structured MIS for internal reporting and the board, including but not limited to monthly financial statements - Monitor the preparation and maintenance of ledgers - Work closely with the central team to ensure all group-level requirements from accounting and reporting standpoint are met 2) Statutory compliance : - Ensure registrations and all regulatory and statutory compliances are in place - Ensure accurate statutory reporting to relevant authorities and related regulatory guidelines 3) Taxation : - Understanding of tax structures for the company and taxation for products - Monitor compliance and filings with relevant stakeholders for taxation - Business planning and budgeting - Work with the FP&amp;A team to aid business decisions by understanding the business-relevant metrics and providing strategic inputs. - Ability to take a contrarian view to the Management if required, and ensure the right fiscal decisions are taken 4) Commercial deliverables and control : - Ensure adherence to commercial processes, taxation etc. - Overall cost control within budget / cost optimization / operations expenses control - Support operations on cost optimization and buying team on vendor partnerships - Align every expenditure till it gets accounted
