UBS - Product Control Specialist

Job Location : Hyderabad

Your role :

1. Analyzing weekly balance sheet movement of financial instruments and providing commentary wherever required as per the defined threshold limits.

2. Having strong product knowledge and ability to understand the drivers like FX movement, new issuances, yield curve etc. .

3. Conducting various data quality checks to ensure correctness of data.

4. Verifying the commentaries provided by function owners, if any, with our workings

5. Act as a single point of contact for the designated area of work within the team and actively participate in process improvement areas.

6. Timely updating of governance data like SOPs or any changes required in any activity.

Your team :

- The FCS (Financial Control Services) team sits within the Integrated Middle Office (IMO) team, which itself is part of Group Finance

Your experience and skills :

Technical skillset required:

1. Should be a qualified CA/MBA with at least 2+ years of experience in banking domain in Accounting or reporting.

2. Understanding of various banking products like Equity, Currencies, Bonds, IRS etc.

3. Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem solving skills.

System skills required

1. A person who is having an Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word and power point. Should able to work on huge excel files with multiple tabs with complex formulas and ability to manipulate data e.g. Pivot tables.
