Your role : An exciting opportunity is available in IMOFCS in which the candidate will be responsible for: - Ensuring Daily PnL and balance sheet is accurately reported to the FO - PnL reconciliation between various management reporting tools - Ensuring that the relevant PnL and Balance sheet positions are correctly reported at month ends - Ensuring the performance of T0 v/s T1 checks and fit for purpose commentary - Reconciliations to be completed and all issues identified/resolved - Ensuring all controls are adhered to - Coordinating the completion and delivery of the tasks allocated to the team - Ensuring that the team's KPIs and SLAs are met - Ensuring the maintenance of a strong internal control environment - Monitoring control reports to ensure accuracy of data for P&L, validation and downstream processes - Ensuring clean audit results from internal and external reviews - Owning key stroke documentations for key PC processes, risk assessment and SOX documentation - Identifying and driving process re-engineering and constantly challenge status quo for control improvement and process efficiency - Motivating and empowering the team to deliver continuous improvements - Responding and resolving issues arising out of interactions with clients and stakeholders - Ensuring open communication and addressing issues / concerns raised - Establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with key stakeholders across. Your team : - The Integrated Middle Office (IMOFCS) team is part of Group Finance Your expertise : - A university degree or equivalent qualification (preferably CA / MBA or similar) - At least 6 years of experience in Product Control - Known for beating deadlines - A broad understanding of the product types traded by the desk and any valuation issues - Able to understand the booking structure for complex trades and raise relevant issues to Product Control management - Confident in double entry accounting associated with products under your control - Good logical / reasoning skills, ability to apply existing knowledge to take logical approach while solving new un-seen issues - A good understanding of the valuation of all products under your control - A working knowledge of accounting aspects of transactions i.e. impact on PnL / Balance sheet. - A team player, interacts well and creates synergy in team environment - The ability to work across teams in the bank - MS office - Intermediate level - Understanding of VBA, Macros - Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written form
