Your role : - Supervision of Day to day accounting and financial reporting - Monthly, Quarterly and yearly closure of management books as per IFRS and within strict Group timelines - Responsible for revenue bookings of the investment banking division. - Senior Stakeholder management - Preparation of annual local financial statements of India entity as per Ind AS. - Preparing Tax forms like FORM 3CD, 3CEB etc. on an annual basis - End-to-end responsibility for smooth conduct and completion of Statutory/Tax Audit & resolving queries of auditors - Supporting tax (direct tax, transfer pricing &amp; GST) assessments/audits including preparation of necessary data/information/details/schedules required to be filed with authorities. - Review &amp; strengthening of internal financial controls - Vendor governance of our advisors/consultants - Ensure the GST and other indirect tax related compliances are met. - Ensure monthly governance around Balance sheet items including certification and highlighting risks if any - Reporting of financial data and net worth certificates to regulators like Stock exchanges, SEBI etc Overseeing the AP process of the entity Your team : - You'll be leading the Finance team of UBS Securities India. They are responsible for vendor payments, financial controls and tax compliances Your expertise : You have: - Expertise of Accounting Standards relevant to India - Exposure to IFRS - Strong knowledge of the stock broking and investment banking. - Prior work experience in stock broking and investment banking domain (experience with a foreign broker will be an added advantage) - Good exposure to Group Month end accounting /reporting of financial results - Working knowledge of Direct Taxes (including Transfer pricing) &amp; Indirect taxes (GST) etc. - Experience in Strengthening financial controls - Should have handled end to end Statutory / Tax audits - Developed /produced management reports useful for decision making. - A pragmatic "can do" attitude You are: - Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience - Great communicator, you know how to speak with people at all levels - Expert at building networks and connections - Conversant with MS Office &amp; SAP - Experienced in finance controllership activities - Prior work experience in the stock broking industry - A team player
