Program Manager, Global Digital Experiences About the Role: - As a Program Manager within Uber's Global Service Design team, you will partner cross-functionally and cross-regionally to turn business opportunities into tangible product solutions that enable high quality customer experiences, as well as effective and efficient business operations. - You will take an active role in the formation of strategy and lead work streams/programs to execute on the aligned strategy. - You will also own the creation and delivery of future state support processes for automation. - The role requires complex project management, data-driven skills, excellent time-management , process design experience, and the ability to clearly articulate and present information for partners at all levels of the business. - These solutions will have a significant impact on Uber's results in areas of customer experience, customer retention, growth and safety. - Global Service Design team mission statement: We evolve critical parts of the customer experience by delivering breakthrough solutions. What You'll Do: - Define the operating structure and processes to implement on product strategy as an individual contributor - Design globalized, future state support processes that are automation-ready - Work cross-functionally to solicit feedback from business stakeholders on the proposed process design and user experience - Collaborate with Product Managers to determine the technical feasibility of the proposed future state support processes - Help craft Uber's customer care strategy and support for the future in the space of support automations and help center experience in the Uber apps - Help identify operational gaps and improve or pioneer processes to drive efficiency across support operations - Develop in-depth understanding of customer experience by incorporating quantitative and qualitative insights - Develop executive-level communications and presentations for Uber's leadership - Be the expert in the room on proposed workflows down to the most intricate details while simultaneously understanding how the manual processes are performed today - Mentor and grow junior team members in the areas of process harmonization, process improvement, Process Mining and program management - Lead alignment with other functional teams, globally, to implement short-term solutions in a timely manner while elaborating on the long-term, evolving strategy - Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to advise product improvements Basic Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategy, Product operations, Management consulting, Process Improvement/Harmonization, Process Excellence, Operations or Tech program management - Deep Analytical experience - Lean Six Sigma Certification will be preferred - Large scale, global project management experience - Excellent communication, the ability to engage internal and external customers - Deep understanding of the user experience - Ability to use data to inform and support critical decisions - SQL Proficiency - Entrepreneurial spirit ; You have the drive to continue building and improving all processes. - Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities What the Candidate Will Do: - Worked on automations and/or customer support programs - Create Process maps and review existing processes for standardization and waste elimination - Comfortable owning and balancing multiple projects or work streams at once - Ability to navigate complexity and provide partners with clear recommendations when decisions are needed or roadblocks are hit About Uber: - At Uber, we reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
