Department: Emerging Markets (SEA & Africa) based out of Bangalore

Job responsibility

- Monthly closing of accounts with full financial of Myanmar and VietNam which would be maintained as a separate profit center in SAP B1

- Cash flow forecasting, including control over Strategic Marketing Spend, A&P Spend

- Cost cards for VietNam/MY/ Nigeria/ Angola with updation on a quarterly basis

- Audit of WMS and Andheri Warehouse- both internal and external

- Maintenance of Latest Estimates, mapped against Budget for timely and wholesome variance analysis/ path- forward

- Preparation of business cases- new offering/ new territories/ new options

- Para legal- commercial validation of contracts with customers/ proposals

- Compliance- full and ontime adherence to various regulatory parameters

- Transfer Pricing inputs and validation per India/ Singapore/ UK

- Control over cost and adherence to budget/ internal mandate

Functional Skills required:

- Expert knowledge of IFRS/ Indian/UK GAAP

- Advance international tax regulations re. Anti-Avoidance, Controlled Foreign Corporations, Limited Risk Distribution/ Manufacturing

- Standard Operating Procedure on closing/ accounting/ and transfer price related issues

- Budgetary control, forecast accuracy, and cost improvement plans

- Drive processes relating to conflict of interest/ integrity of financial reporting

Behavioural capabilities:

- First time quality, with on-time reporting: key financial reports

- Ability to comprehend potential issues and work with multiple functional groups for influencing decisions

- Manage conflicts such that the overall EM objectives are met

- Ability to learn new processes/ new regulation for staying on top of good business practices
