UAE Exchange & Financial Services - Associate Director - IT Development

Job Purpose :

- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with commitment and goals

- Delivery of development and production releases that meet quality assurance standards

- To be the primary interface between business requests, project roadmap and development

Key Accountabilities :

- IT Solutions

- Ensure adherence to SDLC

- Liaise with (current and potential ) project/business partners to reach agreement on scope, schedule and deliverables

- Manage work flow between on-site/off-shore teams

Project Management :

- Lead the planning and implementation of projects

- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables

- Define and manage the project tasks and resource allocation

- Develop full scale project plans

- Track progress of project deliverables, plan and schedule project milestones

- Provide direction and support to project team

- Ensure quality of the software developed is of high standard and aligned with set coding standards

- Project evaluations and assessment of results

- Implement and manage project agile changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

- Ensure documentation and source code version control

Qualification, Skills and Experience :

- Graduate in Information Technology

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively

- Analytical decision making ability

- Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability

- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills

- Awareness of concept on quality management practices and methods.

- Experience of 5-6 years in a medium to large organisation with at least 2 years as a Team Leader

- PMP/PRINCE2 certification will be an added advantage
