TVS Credit Services - Assistant Vice President - Risk

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible to develop, refine and implement a robust risk management framework for TVSCS, align it to the future needs and in line with the market best practices.

Functional Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment:

- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for potential borrowers.

- Analyze financial statements, reports, and relevant information to determine creditworthiness.

Portfolio Monitoring:

- Monitor the credit portfolio to identify emerging risks and trends.

- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize the risk-return profile.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to credit risk regulations and internal policies.

- Collaborate with the Chief Manager to implement changes as needed.

Risk Reporting:

- Prepare regular reports on risk metrics and portfolio performance.

- Assist in the development of presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Model Review:

- Assist in the review and validation of risk models.

- Collaborate with the Chief Manager on model improvement initiatives.

Stress Testing:

- Contribute to stress testing scenarios and analysis.

- Provide input on strategies to mitigate risks identified through stress testing.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications : Chartered Accountant/Premium MBA Institutions

Experience : 8+ years' experience in retail credit/ risk space with bank of repute/ NBFCs

Functional Competencies:

- Knowledge of regulations around retail and corporate finance

- Ability to derive industry insights & analyze best practices across industry

- Ability to analyze the portfolio risk and to deal with big ticket customers
