Manager - HR Operations
Roles and Responsibilities :
- HRIS Management: Own the core HRIS and maintain data sanctity by running periodic audits and using streamlined input processes. Suggest improvements to existing modules and deploy fixes for operational modules and processes. Implement any new HRIS operational modules when needed.
- Payroll and Compliance: Define system driven workflows to ensure that the payroll is error free and smooth.
- Complete ownership of the payroll process.
- Resolution of Employee queries in a time bound manner.
- Responsible for managing Pan India Payroll Operations
- Managing Payroll related legal & statutory Compliance (Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF & Minimum wages).
- Statutory remittances to the concerned Authorities as per calendar, 100% compliance
- Responsible for various MIS reports like (Payroll MIS, Head count, attrition, wage cost etc.) - Investment checking and updating
- Performing Annual PMS exercise (salary revision, rationalization & performance pay calculations)
- Vendor engagement & management for payroll and statutory compliances
- Managing Payroll related legal & statutory Compliance (Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF & Minimum wages)
- HR MIS and Analytics: Manage and deep dive into various form of internal data and systems to prepare reports. Use data analysis to help influence changes to the process or programs by collaborating with business partners/other stakeholders. Provide monthly talent dashboards, employee attrition reports, Headcount & Payroll dashboard, and various other reports, as and when required
- Policy, Process and Audits: Create, review and amend policies and SOPs for all HR operations processes in a timely manner. Lead external operational audits and implement findings/fixes where observed.
- Service Delivery: Ensure on TAT delivery of all operational processes and employee queries. Maintain comprehensive dashboards and tracking mechanisms to identify and fix gaps.
- Projects/New Initiatives: Work with relevant stakeholders to understand and evaluate existing processes to explore process improvement and automation. Build a vision roadmap for operations to enable further operational excellence and seamless global talent management.
- Generalist Operations: Ensure that entire process for the employee lifecycle from hire to exit for on roll is carried out as per SOP framework across all locations. This includes new position management, new hire on boarding, new hire documentation, induction, post induction integration activities, on time probation activities, processing salary revision, ad hoc letters, performance management roll out, updated employee data and record management, off boarding, etc.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 8+ years experience with strong exposure to HR operations
- MBA or post graduate certification in HR
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, hyper-growth environments
- Ability to manage and direct a team to inspire high performance
- Ability to bring structure to complex problem statements and projects
- Knowledge on payroll related Compliances
