Accountability & Responsibilities:  - To produce and deliver the IT strategy for TUI India in line with the business plan and landscape. This is to be consistent across all elements, Tour Operations, Distribution, eCommerce and Back Office functionality and ensure the best use of IT platforms, both existing and new.  - To produce the annual plan for IT including hardware and software development in conjunction with internal TUI India requirements and plans. To agree the plan with the Management Board and manage the delivery.  - To manage the relationships between TUI India and 3rd party suppliers of support and development services  - HR responsibility for managing and developing the team members ensuring the relevant skills and resources are available to deliver the agreed schedule.  - Manage effective relationships across the business by understanding in depth the market drivers and objectives of the business.  - To define, measure and report IT KPI's to key stakeholders  - Using appropriate partners determine the infrastructure technology solutions to support the development plan and ensure existing systems are supportable  - Sponsor the technical evaluation and conduct feasibility studies of proposed system solutions. To manage those solutions into operation.  - Liaise with the business over project delivery and system support, ensuring that communication is clear and prompt.  - Responsible for the management of change, including project management, change control and release procedures  - Recruit and train staff where required, either on a permanent or a contract basis  Main Task:  - Implementation of the IT elements of the Strategy, including ensuring that all business processes are reviewed in conjunction with the IT implementation.  - Should be responsible for growing the mobile portfolio for both customers and internal business practices.  - Ensure that the technology and process are delivering according to forecast using appropriate tools and measures.  - Responsible for delivery of the next phases of the TUI India business plan including roll out to other cities and increasing the number of retail travel agent.  Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Competencies required to fulfill role:  - Tour operator experience preferable but a good experience and understanding of the complexities of the travel sector is highly desirable.  - Should be responsible for growing the mobile portfolio for both customers and internal business practices.   - Technological background which is business focused  - Online focused to ensure online and offline IT systems work in conjunction, capitalizing on future market trends.  - Good evidence of delivery, showing control and discipline to deliver against agreed project plans and deadlines.  - Ability to present clearly and articulately to senior teams, stakeholders and suppliers in English.  - Ability to motivate and develop teams, performing regular and structured performance reviews and objective setting.  Personal Attributes:  - 10-12 years previous/relevant experience within technology.  - Should have a Computer Science degree from reputed University / College(preferable NIT/IIT pass out)  - Proven delivery of online technology.  - Strong interpersonal skills.  - Structured, organised and disciplined approach to work.  - Ability to work at all levels, from strategic planning through to helping the business to complete test plans for particular projects.
