Job Description:

- Associates participate in all aspects of project underwriting and can expect to work on a number of assignments at one time. Deal teams are typically small and Associates are, therefore, expected to be involved in all substantial deal related decisions. All Associates are intimately involved with the analyzing, screening, structuring, and financing of transactions and typically participate in all key deal related discussions.

- Associates will also spend an equal amount of time in the management of existing investments including competitive positioning, sales & marketing planning and management, development management, and financial/exit management. Associates are also expected to lead and participate in other aspects of managing the funds’ operations such as marketing and investor reporting.

Responsibilities:

- Typical Associate work includes: Excel-based financial analysis, investment memorandum preparation, market research, due diligence, creation of PowerPoint presentations, assistance in the execution of transactions and drafting of related/legal materials. Associates will work on a wide range of transactions within the private equity real estate sector across India, including joint ventures, joint developments, land acquisitions and other creative structures, financings and recapitalizations.

The position will require high flexibility to travel.

Qualifications:

- We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have consistently demonstrated excellence. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have strong communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, and the ability to work in a team environment, often under the pressure of tight deadlines.

- Prior consulting experience or private equity/investment banking experience in real estate will be preferred. IIT/IIM educational background is strongly preferred.
