Tripda - Entrepreneur in Residence - IIT/BITS

Rocket Internet attracts the brightest and best to build companies worldwide faster than anyone else. We are seeking outstanding candidates to join Tripda, a Rocket Internet backed venture, as Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR).

The EIR program is designed for candidates who have the clear potential and intention to become Founder of a new Rocket Internet startup in the near future. This is a highly visible role, with outstanding career development prospects and the opportunity to truly have a commercial impact on a high-growing and global leading organization.

Working directly with the Founder/Country Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility over the operations of this company, and will also be responsible for leading the implementation and execution of a business plan that ensures market-share growth and regional expansion objectives are met, for developing partnerships with key stakeholders, as well as for leading, motivating and developing a large, energetic and results-oriented team. As an EIR, you will have multiple employees and interns reporting directly to you.

Being an EIR is extremely challenging and rewarding. You will get the broadest experience in internet businesses, learn day-to-day management, and build all the functional expertise required for successful internet startups. You will be part of an international team of very motivated and talented people.

Tripda is an easy-to-use and advanced carpooling system with various innovative features (e.g. safety measures, user rating system, fair price recommendations, car detail registration, user profile & preferences, SMS and email confirmation & reminders) and unlike any other carpooling website out there. Requirements:

A proven track record of personal, academic, and professional achievements and demonstrated leadership among the best of your class

- 1-2 years of work experience in management consulting, banking, marketing roles in industry or established startups

- Graduate of a top-tier school (IIT/BITS/St. Stephen's/St. Xavier's or likewise)

Entrepreneurial spirit, strong analytical skills and hands-on attitude

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Location: While headquartered in Gurgaon, we are open to hiring candidates who wish to be based out of Mumbai as well
