JOB DESCRIPTION : We are looking for Category Analytics who can analyze, assist in financial planning and analytics of Category from an E commerce perspective. Trell, which will enable its creators to monetize their content in the future, aims to be India's largest community-commerce platform by 2021. Roles and Responsibilities: - Planning of monthly and quarterly targets on GMV, revenue, and cost for category and sub-categories - Working with category teams to plan weekly execution for target achievement. - Financial Planning of the Category and the Division. - Tracking achievement of targets and key financial metrics and dependencies - Leveraging analytics for problem-solving and identifying interventions for improving various financial and dependent metrics - Working with category leads on strategic initiatives and planning - Provide assistance to Category Managers in developing category management strategies in companywide perspective. - Assist in sales and profitability of assigned category through analysis of performance data. - Assist in planning promotional activities and sales events for assigned categories. - Analyze business and market trends to recommend new strategies for increased sales. - Review business activities and provide feedback to management. - Develop all documentations related to category management and sales activities. - Create business presentations and sales proposals as needed. - Work with account manager and category manager to create promotional initiatives to improve business. - Conduct post-promotion investigation to study the marketing impact to category and brand. - Assist to prepare customized reports to management when needed. - Provide guidance to sales team to meet revenue goals. Eligibility Criteria : - 1 to 3 years of experience in analytics.(Only Ecommerce Experience) - Prior exposure to Data analysis/Business Analysis (preferably 1-2 years) will be an added advantage - Expertise with Excel and preferably knowledge or experience of data analytics and tools like Tableau, R, Python, will be a plus etc - Adaptable within a fast-paced environment - Must have a positive and professional verbal and written communication skills and maintain excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to challenge and manage the change of the status quo - A simple thinker.
