We are looking forward for a suitable candidate for the below mentioned position.

Position : Treasury - Operational Risk Management

This position is with proprietary trading desk of the organisation. We trade in multiple asset classes i.e. Equities, Currencies, Fixed Income and Commodities. Within this set of asset classes, we trade almost all trading products ranging from Arbitrage to Quant systems, and from Options trading to High frequency trading. We are market leaders in many segments like Structured Products, Corporate Actions Trading, Low Risk Trading, and Algorithmic Trading.

- To adhere to the Group ORM policies and guidelines, translate and apply to Markets Operations

- To implement the operational loss capturing, analysis and reporting process.

- To devise and implement the key risk indicators capturing, analysis and reporting process.

- To implement risk control self assessment process within Markets Operations.

- To conduct the operational risk assessment for new business initiatives and existing activities by drawing the risk map

- To participate in ad hoc operational risk related projects (e.g. information security, deep dive etc.)

- To provide operational risk related training and convey the risk lessons to increase the risk awareness and foster a strong risk culture

- To engage business units and support function in operation risk related matters and maintain regular dialogue

- To work very closely with other Group control functions to harmonize and standardize the risk management practices.

- To develop and prepare the operational risk reports for Operations senior management and answer their queries

- To act in proactive manner to assist the business unit and support functions to assess and manage their operational risk

- To suggest practical recommendation to streamline and improve the internal control framework

- To establish the best practice of operational risk management which is comparable to industry standards.

Functional Skills:

- Should have very good knowledge of financial market - Primary and Secondary, Exchange and OTC traded products

- Should have strong working knowledge of Equity and currency Derivatives

- Should be aware of the Proprietary Trading Business environment

Preferred Education Pool : Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance from Tier I & II Institutes
