Position: Treasury Manager

Location: Bangalore

Education: CA/MBA or other Specialized Master's degree required, CFA preferred

Experience: 5-8 years post qualification

Job Description:

- This position would be part of the International (ex-Americas) Investments Treasury team, based in Bangalore.

- The position will be responsible for coordinating the investment activities for the portfolio and will bear overall responsibility for portfolio performance.

- Responsible for meeting funding requirements, forecasting short and long term cash positions, finding investments to enhance the yield of the portfolio while adhering to credit guidelines.

- Responsible for managing the execution of treasury transactions with external parties on behalf of the corporation. These financial instruments may include complex fixed income, foreign exchange, equity and/or derivative financial instruments.

- Utilizes advanced technical knowledge in the corporate treasury profession including expertise in money markets, financial derivatives, financial risk management, credit analysis and banking/clearing systems in order to make complex decisions regarding investment choice and risk/reward tradeoffs.

- Manages banking service providers. Drives complex projects such as structured products/financing and leads cross-functional teams including tax, legal and accounting. May manage employees.

- 5-8 years relevant (fixed income, FX or corporate treasury) experience

- CA/MBA or other Specialized Master's degree required, CFA preferred

Critical skills required for this position include:

- Self-starter, action oriented attitude and composure, in order to manage, with minimal errors, significant amounts of cash and meeting tight deadlines; ability to generate new investment ideas

- Very good knowledge of the fixed income and capital market, derivative products as well as the ability to price and break down risk

- Strong quantitative/modeling skills and superb Excel and macro-writing skills

- Good knowledge of trading systems and ability to work with various internal and external software solutions

- Strong financial analysis and problem solving skills

- Teamwork and communication skills, to effectively work within a multicultural organization
