Treasury Business Analyst - Manufacturing Firm

Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire a Treasury Business Analyst

Purpose and Key Objectives of the Job:

- Assist the Treasury & Insurance department with reporting and administrative tasks.

- Manage departmental costs and oversee the cost centers structure.

- Provide support to functional teams regarding day-to-day finance and analytical inquiries.

Responsibilities:

- Support the Treasury and Insurance Team with regular reporting and analysis activities:

- Automate/create monthly reporting and provide analysis.

- Collaborate with the team to develop dashboards and reports for ad hoc analysis.

- Prepare and upload SOX documentation and reporting during month-end closing.

- Perform other ad hoc activities to support Treasury and Insurance functions.

- Establish a centralized database for third-party insurance across various countries.

- Generate cash per country reports and coordinate with regional accounting teams to maintain cash balances.

- Coordinate cash flow projections and review periodically.

- Prepare monthly guarantee reporting, including an overview of bank guarantees.

- Provide daily bank account balance reports for Poland (EMEA).

Business Treasury Execution:

- Handle DB Autobahn guarantee applications and queries.

- Monitor IC loans and PCG guarantees monthly.

- Monitor RFA tool and provide monthly overviews.

- Create treasury manual payment forms.

- Execute treasury operations requests.

- Administer bank-related documents such as confirmation of bank accounts.

- Responsible for the bank system and bank compliance within Treasury.

- Maintain and update the Electronic banking system as a global administrator.

- Support the process to open/close bank accounts and maintain KYC information globally.

- Create MDM requests and ensure system data is up-to-date.

- Support functional teams on day-to-day finance requirements:

- Prepare purchase orders (POs) in accordance with budget for different Treasury & Insurance teams.

- Support internal allocation of costs and charge out processes.

- Provide guidance to functional teams on company processes such as payments, invoices, etc.

- Monitor treasury and insurance cost center for budget versus actual on a monthly basis.

- Assist in reviewing quarterly invoices received by DB and HSBC.

Level of Autonomy:

- The job holder may make decisions in line with the company's authority schedule, set SOX controls, and operational standards. They should proactively seek understanding and clarity from management and coworkers when necessary.

Job Requirements:

- Able to work independently, with strong analytical and fact-based skills.

- MBA (Finance)

- 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis/project controlling functions.

- Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry with a global multinational organization preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Business Warehouse, PowerBi, SAP Analytical Cloud).

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.

- Comfortable working in a demanding environment within an international context.

- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering enthusiasm, driving change, and making decisions based on analytical and factual evidence.
