Designation - Business Analyst

Location - Gurgaon

Prior Work Experience - 0-2 Years

Educational Qualifications - B.Tech. or similar undergraduate degree from a reputed institute (IIT/NIT/BITS/DTU etc.)

Key Responsibilities

As a part of the analytics team, you will take end to end responsibility of a particular segment of the company's business intelligence and analysis requirements. Hence, you will need to understand what needs to be tracked, how to track it, design the right views and then deliver actionable insights. Your work will largely hinge around:

1. Data Warehousing

- Tracking and documentation of data sources across the company in order to maintain and develop a part of the ETL layer of the organization's data.

- Continuous coordination with the development team to understand our rapidly evolving data sources to correctly allow a fair amount of query scripting.

2. Development and Monitoring of Business Reporting Framework

- Visualization of data in various creative ways in order to develop a limited number of views to give a good aggregate summary of a function or process

- Implementation of these views through various business intelligence tools

3. Delivering Actionable Insights

- Exploration of data to spot deeper correlations and trends based on business priorities

- Conceptualizing and validating various null hypothesis as well as following up on any experimentation that may go into this process

Key Skills

- Familiarity with both SQL and Excel is highly sought after. An analyst will require proficiency in both these tools to effectively carry out tasks in this role.

- Strong interpersonal skills will be required to coordinate with multiple business stakeholders as you down their business problems into quantifiable metrics and actionable insights.
