Currently we are having an opening with a MNC Electronics Component Manufacturing Company for Transportation Specialist position.

Job Responsibilities :-

- Manage and resolve the day-to-day operation issues related to transportation to ensure on-time delivery performance.

- Assist the India Logistic and Regional Transportation Manager in implementing supply chain solutions.

- Develop & maintain transportation SOP and SLA

- Work with the India Logistics Manager and the Regional Transportation team, business units and service providers to improve supply chain cost & service performance, including the follow-up of corrective actions.

- Work with service providers on needed information such as RFQ, RFI and conduct carrier contract negotiation.

- Perform freight bill verification, cost compilation, accrual, and analysis, including scheduled freight cost review with finance & management.

- Perform freight cost modelling / simulation to develop cost improve plans

- Collate data for carrier performance analysis and management, including the freight related metrics reporting.

- Conduct monthly service provider performance review
