Transport Manager - Supply Chain Management Business

Job Designation:- Transport Manager with leading supply chain management company.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

- Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and supplies throughout warehouse to sustain manufacturing and production activities.

- Unload trucks, check in merchandise, reconcile purchase orders with sales orders, and distribute received inventory to designated production areas.

- Reconciliation of purchase orders against goods received to confirm receipt and report defective products to suppliers.

- Facilitate inventory management and inform management of low inventory; record inventory counts in company computer systems.

- Generate reports documenting defective materials, questionable conditions, and quality benchmark results.

- Responsible for generating E-way bill for all logistics operations.

- Responsible for performing vehicles audit for operational compliances.

Logistics management:

- Write weekly and monthly global transportation reports.

- Produce bills of lading and update shipment status information.

- Oversaw rush orders and order changes.

Operations Executive / Logistic Executive:

- Manage a fleet of delivery riders within a specific area (e.g. Schedule working times, solve daily operational issues, follow up on equipment, conduct weekly rider meetings)

- Assist and manage dispatching of orders

- Manage inventory for fleet equipment, office and associated paperwork

- Enjoy working with others, and represent our company in a positive way

- Proactivity, punctuality, discipline, time management and leadership

- Support hiring of new riders

- Communicate closely with other departments (e.g. Human Resources, Call Center, Dispatching team)

- Organizing and maintaining files and records

- Assist in receiving incoming shipments from forwarders or suppliers

- Filing of shipping documents

- Assist in binning the parts

- BL & FTA draft checking

- Daily deliveries shipping documents preparation
