Job Location: Mumbai

What your typical day at TransOrg would look like:

- Analyze & interpret data and communicate results to clients, often with the aid of mathematical/statistical techniques and software.

- Data exploration, Dashboarding, Visualization, mathematical/statistical modelling and data analysis

- Complex statistical concepts are explained in a way that clients can understand and advice on strategy.

What you need to excel at:

- Well-versed in quantitative analysis, research, data mining, trend analysis, and customer profiling.

- Must have advanced understanding of BI tools (Power BI / tableau). Experience in Tableau Desktop and/or Tableau Server preferred.

- Experience developing customized interactive reports, dashboards and workbook using multiple data sources.

- Experience designing and deploying end to end process of visualization.

- Experience in creating calculated field, Table calculations LOD expressions, Actions, Filters and parameters.

- Experience developing workbooks from multiple data sources using data blending.

- Modify and troubleshoot existing reports and rebuilding or repointing existing reports to another data sources.

- Performance tuning of reports.

- Good understanding of database and Excel macros/pivots.

- Must have excellent communication, written, and team-oriented skills.

- Should be able to handle assigned tasks in the capacity of individual contributor.

- Demonstrate excellent teamwork.

- Collaborate with other data analysts to provide development coverage, support, and knowledge

- Mentoring of junior team members.

What we are looking for:

- 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau and/or other BI tools is a must

- Hands-on experience on SQL for 1+ year

- R and python experience would be a plus

- Must have a passion for data, structured or unstructured.

- Should have sound experience in data mining and data analysis.

- Excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communications skills.

- Ability and desire to work in a proactive, highly engaging, high-pressure, client service environment.

- Good presentation skills.

- Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Math or related quantitative degree or equivalent work experience.
