Transition Lead

Responsibilities-

- Understanding strategic business objectives of the customer and facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

- Identifying and defining business case; defining project tasks and resource requirements; developing detailed project charter, project plan and transition plan depending on solution complexity, priorities and deliverables.

- Accountable for driving execution of the plan, ensuring that quality, cost and schedule objectives are met. Will own the transition budgets and track adherence.

- Responsible for risk management – understand the business and operational risks and develop and execute mitigation plans. Responsible for driving process specific business continuity planning.

- Key liaison with the clients’ transition/PMO office. Effectively lead and manage multi-level interactions between client & stakeholders.

- Monitoring service delivery pre and post Go Live! – working with the service delivery teams to address service continuity and service change management issues.

- Preparing and maintaining implementation issues and action log throughout the project life cycle and ensure learning’s are applied to next project. Best practice sharing and creating case studies for future use.

- Responsible for the creation and/or maintenance of project management documents including status reports, project plans, knowledge transfer documentation, requisite approvals on Clarity.

- Ensure adherence to transition methodology, checklists and audit requirements on completeness of documentation and compliance procedures.

- Lead / participate in opportunity analysis / due diligence of potential projects. Support solutioning of new bids / RFP-RFI responses/Client Presentations and sales cycle

- Proactively identify new opportunities to increase revenues / improve processes for customers. Understand competitive landscape to benchmark current methodology and processes and propose innovative improvements.

Competencies

- Should possess an understanding of project management processes and procedures and must adhere to transition toolkit deliverables.

- Should possess an understanding of macro business environment, trends, and competition. Should be able to understand client business pain points, challenges and outsourcing objectives.

- Should have a good understanding of the overall tools and technology landscape, current trends and applicability in the outsourcing environment.

- Must be results oriented; must have excellent attention to detail, accuracy of work, sense of responsibility toward work and ability to accomplish projects and tasks on time.

- Demonstrated ability to lead & get work done from multifunctional teams. Ability to work independently and be very proactive, ability to take direction and accept developmental feedback.

- Should have excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive lasting relationships, even in difficult situations, with diverse people spanning internal/external organizations.

- Should be able to multitask and have the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to manage own time and deadlines, ability to accommodate a very fast work pace and high degree of time pressure, ability to get self and others organized.

- Should have excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

- Stress Management: Ability to adapt to change, ability to respond effectively to change, and ability to tolerate and manage stress on the job.
