Job Description:

Timely (i.e. monthly within the closing deadlines) coordination and processing of transfer pricing/recharges activities.

Detailed duties and responsibilities:

- Responsible for Transfer Pricing, including

- Preparing Transfer Pricing calculations

- Accounting for Transfer Pricing

- Investigating Global P&L breaks in Transfer Pricing accounts

- Preparing and posting of Transfer Pricing MIS reversals

- Liaising with Tax Transfer Pricing Team globally

- Liaising with settlement teams for all the regions above and getting the invoices settled

- Acting as backup for Transfer Pricing tasks in the absence of other team members

- Ensure that SOPs (standard operating procedures) are developed and kept up to date for all processes. Perform analytical review of the process on a monthly basis and preparation of governance packs and MIS report.

- Ensure monitoring of intercompany breaks and resolution thereof on a timely basis

- Tracking of open items and appropriate escalation in a timely manner

- Ensuring timely and quality signoff of accounting balances on a monthly basis

- Ensuring quality commentary of breaks reported

- Contribute in ad-hoc projects to improve processes

- Liaising with auditors and other upstream departments on an ad-hoc basis

- Manage hand-offs with other departments e.g. LECs, operations and intercompany Team

- Gain sound understandings of intercompany recharges process and identify areas of improvement.

- Monitoring intercompany recharges postings in various intercompany recharges accounts globally

- Extraction and analysis of recharges which needs to be recharged to various legal entities

- Co-ordination and obtaining agreement of counterparties (e.g. LECs and upstream departments)

- Intercompany recharges accounting on a monthly basis

Desired Profile:

Technical Skills:

- Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years of experience.

- Advanced MS excel skills, outlook, and internet

- Effective verbal and written English communication skills

Behavioral Skills:

- Ability to analyze problems and proactively recognize need for action

- Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and recognize when issues need escalation

- Ability to organize workload, to set priorities and to meet strict reporting deadlines
