Strategic Projects - Transactions Manager Contract role for 1 year
- As a Strategic Projects - Transactions Manager in our team, you will lead the planning, execution and deployment of the post close people integration offering on M&A and Outsourcing deals.
- You will project manage the design and build of the business case scoping and integration tools and methodology, for post close integration up to 4 months after day 1.
- You will work as part of the overall Transaction Team which includes Risk, Quality & IT to mitigate risk associated with these activities.
- Additionally, you will work with indirect reports in a matrixed environment to assist with and develop, plan and execute employee touch points throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Responsibilities :
- Develop a business case scoping and integration offering for global M&A and outsourcing deals including the development of tools and templates
- Create and deliver clear, concise, high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource on business case development and post deal people integration
- Lead the implementation of the new methodology and tools
- Engage with senior stakeholders across HR Leadership, Corporate Development, Executive Talent Team and Service Line Teams.
- Recommend and implement new approaches to leaders and influence final decisions, striving for continuous improvement
- Measure the impact of the business case scoping and integration activities
- Manage project plans and timelines and develop deliverables related to support each transaction
- Upskill the Transactions Team on transaction methodology and best practices
- Ensure the integration activities align with the overall Talent strategy
- Respond to needs of Talent workstream managers, sponsors and stakeholders, escalating to leadership as appropriate
- Identify alternate solutions to situations
- Contribute to the development of our acquisition/transaction/restructure methodologies and tools, actively knowledge sharing across the team and acting as a visible role model
- Maintain Global HR M&A and workforce transformation tools and templates
- Actively manage project risks and issues and recommend solutions to effectively overcome these.
- Manage project budget and ensure timely and accurate reporting and overall governance.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships across our internal EY organization and strategic partnerships.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements :
- HR M&A or Outsourcing due diligence and post deal integration
- Strategic HR and workforce change projects
- HR Process Improvement
- HR Technology including the project management of technology deployment and associated changes to
- HR process and HR operating models
- HR Service Delivery including the design and delivery of manager and employee self-serve, HR shared services
- Experience of external client service and HR project delivery in a management consulting or 'Advisory' business or experience working as a strategic HR business partner.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge gained on HR projects, including proven experience utilizing standard project methodologies.
- Proven ability to work on cross-functional project teams and translate complex business analysis into actionable recommendations through to implementation.
- Highly organized self-starter with exceptional client service, strategic thinking, communication, analytical, and people management skills
- Ability to work independently with little direction, including the ability to manage ambiguity and the political aspects of change.
- Ability to establish and maintain credibility and excellent client relationships across many different functions and organization levels.
- Experience of partnering with key stakeholders to communicate, influence and bring innovative solutions to challenging problems.
- Global mindset with appreciation of differing HR requirements and regulations (including legal and cultural) particular to each jurisdiction.

Job Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline required.
Experience : 8-10+ years' work experience preferred including prior Shared Services/BPO and/or HR Operations experience
