PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Consults with all levels of management to translate business requirements into learning and development strategy

- Works with management, performance consultants and/or subject matter experts to understand desired business outcomes and translate them into learning and organization development objectives

- Designs and implements proactive communication plans to ensure that learning and development initiatives are communicated effectively

- Identify performance gaps and recommend training solutions

- Create training materials (presentations, course guides) using appropriate tools, to meet the needs & learning styles of individuals and the departmental objective

- Design training programmes in collaboration with functional training professionals and subject matter experts

- Develops project plans including the identification of subject matter experts where appropriate

- Deliver training sessions and effectively present new information, so that learning can be transferred into the workplace

- Conduct evaluation of training interventions by the use of measuring tools and MIS

- Provide coaching and training as and when required; using industry best practice which supports the group, culture, change and strategy of IRAS

- Maintains an inventory of training and organization development programs/tools and schedules their use according to management priorities.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

For this position, we are looking for an individual who is:

- B.Com (Finance, Accounting or Economics) preferred with at least 7 years of total experience. 3-4 years in related training and project management experience. 2 years in the current role/group Three to five years of training consulting experience.

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work with all levels of staff

- Self starter and team player

- Assertive & effective communication skills

- Be able to mentor/coach through confidence and approachability

- Ability to provide honest and objective feedback to trainees/participants

- Good to excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite.Knowledge of IRAS applications is an added advantage

- Knowledge of relevant regulatory environment
