Business Development Head

Main Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities Requirements, Skills & Competencies:

Requirements:

- Education - Post Graduate (MBA/PGDM) from reputed institutions

- 10+ years of overall work experience with 2-3 years in training/academy management roles with FMEG companies/ construction / paints / other independent organizations (govt/semi-govt/Non-Profit)

- Excellent technical knowledge

Competencies:

- Structured Problem Solving; Critical thinking; Cross functional team management; Purposeful Decision Making; Team building; Collaborating

Skills:

- Excellent expertise in managing training.

- Ability to manage cross functional stakeholders to drive program on ground.

- Proficiency in data in sighting to understand key inefficiencies and work out solution.

- High level of communication ability and presentation skills to present to key stakeholders.

- Proven experience in leading and managing a team.

- Resilient, resourceful, and able to multitask.

Decisions to be taken to Manager:

- Program Curriculum Design

- Capability building (Manpower, Infra)

- Training Scheduling

Accountabilities Responsibilities Authorities:

Training Curriculum:

- Understand knowledge gaps in electricians through market visits, team insights and research.

- Lead the effort of designing curriculum of programs.

- Secure approvals of the curriculum from internal and external stakeholders - Design curriculum basis training gaps

Set-up Training Academy:

- Co-ordination with NSDC / ITI on getting Training "Partner Certificate" through adherence to laid out processes and documentation.

- Create infrastructure requirement plan to set-up academy.

- Lead the effort in setting up of physical/mobile academy

- Academy Operations and Productivity - Scheduling of training programs

- Co-ordination with sales on planning training interventions as per geography needs

- Ensure maximum through-put of training infra invested

- Create Training Schedule

Innovation:

- Understand changing trends in the market and basis that create new training interventions for upskilling electricians.

- Look for new technology and infra that can be invested to upgrade academies.

- To come-up with new used-cases of training academy to maximize ROI of academy
