Department:

The Corporate Funding department plays a vital role in the Group's success; managing the Group's corporate facilities, intercompany lending, capital expenditure forecasting, finance P&L management and daily liquidity position.

Main Purpose:

Day to day the candidate will be required to maintain the group's Securitisation Programme, which provides over $6Bn of financing to Trafigura's trade receivables. The programme is Europe's largest trade receivables programme and the candidate will be expected to run it in accordance to the strict criteria laid out in its legal documentation. The candidate will also need to ensure that the facility is being utilised as efficiently as possible, in order to minimise the group's working capital requirements, and therefore support Trafigura's continued ambitious growth plans.

In addition, the role provides support for the other securitisation programmes being managed by Corporate Funding, such as the Inventory Securitisation programme and cover over such areas as intercompany loan management, liquidity reporting and finance P&L management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

- Very strong academic background, educated to degree level

- A specialism in finance/economics/commodities at degree level highly desired

- Some work experience within the finance field is essential

- Trade Finance experience of 2-6 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily management of the groups $6bn Trade Receivables Securitisation programme

- Selection of receivables for offer to sell to the programme

- Daily allocation of collections

- Daily reconciliation of receipts

- Daily interaction with the Programme Agent and the Programme Account Bank.

- Forecast modelling for weekly funding level allocation

- Monitoring of aged debts

- Negotiation of credit enhancement from external providers

- Securitisation Debtor reconciliation with accounting

- Diffusion report validation for Programme Agent

- Quarterly investor reports

- Manage Bi-annual Audit of Securitisation, liaising with the auditors and management of audit timelines

- Weekly Management report on the programme

- Close interaction with internal teams to ensure top quality receivables enter the programme, and are raised in the system in a timely manner.
