Trader - Nickel and Ferro Alloys

Job Overview: As a Trader specializing in Nickel and Ferro Alloys, your primary responsibility will be to drive growth and revenue for our group within the nickel and ferro alloys sector globally. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence in both the nickel and ferro alloys industries. This role requires a deep understanding of these materials, market trends, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. You will have to handle the complete trading desk of Nickel and Ferro alloys.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in the nickel and ferro alloys sectors.

- Analyze market data to develop insights that inform business strategies and decisions.

2. Business Strategy Development:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for both the nickel and ferro alloys divisions, aligning them with the company's overall goals and objectives.

- Define clear goals, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for both segments.

3. New Business Development:

- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including new markets, clients, and products within the ferro alloys industries and nickel.

- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key industry players, potential clients, and partners.

4. Sales and Revenue Growth:

- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets for both the nickel and ferro alloys businesses.

- Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

5. Supplier Relations:

- Collaborate with the suppliers across the world for procurement at best rates to enhance existing products or develop new nickel and ferro alloys products that meet market demands.

- Develop and strengthen relations with smelters and suppliers. Ensure that product offerings remain competitive and aligned with customer needs.

6. Marketing and Promotion:

- Work closely with the sales team to create marketing campaigns and materials that effectively promote nickel and ferro alloys business.

- Attend industry conferences and events to represent the company and build brand awareness.

7. Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks and challenges in the nickel and ferro alloys markets and develop mitigation strategies.

- Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements.

8. Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities for both segments.

- Analyze data to provide insights and make data-driven decisions.
