- Fund management

- Managing the funding position of the bank using money market instruments like Borrowing / Lending / Repo / CDs etc.

- Manage the short term liquidity of the bank.

- Maintenance of Statutory Ratio - CRR & SLR.

- Managing the liquidity risk and interest rate gaps.

- Proficiency in money market products like NDS-Call, NDS-OM, CROMS, TREPS, LAF etc.

- Managing INR account and FCY nostro balances, ensuring sufficient overnight and term funding at appropriate rate, with an objective to enhance return.

- Co-ordination with Corporate Banking Team's Relationship Managers to meet overall profit target of the bank, ensuring smooth and transparent Transfer Pricing.

- Knowledge, adherence and compliance to all RBI regulations regarding Treasury ALM activities.

- Forex Dealing

- Access to FX swap market for managing funds position.

- Maintenance of AGL, IGL, and NOPL of the bank.

- Can act as back-up for FX and Rates Trading desk.

- Financial Institution Function

- Relationship management with banks and brokers.

- Initiative to Set-up credit limits on banks.

- Reporting

- Preparation of daily funding position.

- Preparation of the monthly reports to be submitted to the ALCO.

- Preparation of reports for transfer pricing including rate card for deposits and loans.

- Forecast of balance sheet, profitability.

- Any other regulatory reporting or as required by the management and Head Office, from time to time.

- Experience

- 3-5 years of Prior experience in Money Market or Rates Trading Desk in a Bank.

- Requirements:

- Education: Minimum degree in Finance, Business or Economics and/or MBA preferred.

Skills:

- Strong interest in number crunching

- Strong communication skills

- In depth knowledge of treasury's products and applications

- Ability to work with all levels of senior management
