Trader - Maize & Agri Commodities

Looking for a Trader - Maize & other agri commodities for a client HQ in Bangalore.

Education: MBA

Responsibilities and Requisites:

Good knowledge of the agricultural market in India with particular emphasis on maize

Constantly monitoring the market performance by interactions and accessing information from relevant sources Ability to interpret market reports.

Effective liaison with customers, brokers and suppliers

Travel within India to liaise and assess market conditions

Negotiating price, specification and delivery details.

Liaising with transport, shipping, and insurance and warehousing companies. Exploring new business openings. Preparation of M2 M reports

Daily reporting of Trades to Head office

Skills/Attributes required:

5-10 years of experience as a trader in Agri Commodities with specialization in maize

Hands on experience in Sales, Relationship management or Procurement

Good team player

Good written and oral communication, in Hindi and in English

Should have worked closely with Peer groups and departments

Excellent reporting skills
