We have an opening with one of our investment bank client, Mumbai for Trade support specialist. PFA the JD below.

Job Description:

Business Title - Trade Support Specialist

Reports To - Operations Manager

Experience - 3- 6 years

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist with the execution and allocation booking of specialty managed account trading.

2. Back-up support for all managed account operational functions.

3. Work with Pershing and third party money managers to resolve operational issues.

4. Provide back-up operational support to the fixed income trade desk.

5. Liaise between the PB sales support, money managers and Pershing.

6. Special Projects as assigned.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicant must have a strong operational background with knowledge of managed accounts, trading and settlements both domestic and international. Good quantitative, qualitative, and organizational skills. Ability to handle heavy work loads while remaining focused in fast paced team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Assure adherence to compliance policies and procedures and record keeping requirements

- Interface between trading, trading operations, portfolio management, market makers and Pershing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance required. 3-6 years professional experienced in brokerage operations, trade support, or managed accounts.

BUSINESS COMPETENCIES

1. Knowledge of clearing, custody, execution and PB products and services

2. Knowledge of industry rules and regulations

3. Knowledge on international trade regulations.

4. Ability to interface with all levels of Management

5. Ability to work independently

6. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

7. Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a high-stress, high-pressure environment

8. Exceptional written, verbal communication

9. Familiarity with clearing/settlement systems. (APL, NetEx, PMAS)

10. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications or PC literacy in similar Windows based programs

11. Strong understanding of securities organizations, external processing agencies and exchanges in relation to our business.

12. Experience in a wide range of operations functions (settlements, domestic and international trading, margin,)
