Trade Settlement Specialist - Equity

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Monitor, analyze, and process transactions via proprietary systems

- Facilitate the accurate and timely settlement of US and international (Euro and other local European/Asian markets) transactions for Equities

- Identify trade discrepancies as well as mitigate the risks related to the trade life cycle

- Manage complex operational and settlement problems independent of immediate supervision

- Perform a daily reconciliation of securities movements and facilitate cross border activity

- Interact daily with the Research team traders, Execution Brokers, Prime brokers / custodians and Fund

- Administrators based across multiple locations in India, US and Europe.

- Required to master the complexities of equity products as well as gain a solid understanding of the business model and infrastructure

- Create and maintain daily and monthly activity reports Communicate frequently with domestic and international custodians and counterparties

Desired Skills and Experience:

- At least 3 years of Equity Securities settlement experience with a hedge fund or a bank back office / middle office

- Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment

- At least a Bachelors degree is necessary

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

- Advanced analytical skills required

- Strong written and verbal communication skills required

- High Proficiency necessary in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Email.

- Accounting background and knowledge would be beneficial Open to work long hours to get the work completed.
