Trade Finance Manager

We are looking for Manager-Trade Finance with one of the reputed Company in Commodity Trading and Import/Export.

Primarily responsible for identifying, raising and managing resources to fund future expansion of the company.

- Oversees fund raising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, funding trading sources, establishing strategies to approach funding agencies, submitting proposals and administrating fund-raising records and documentation

- Liaise with banks & other financial institutions with the purpose of arranging the finance for company requirements for various products using trade finance options.

- Use trade products to mitigate the trade & payment risks of deals from supplier to end buyer & ensure that the business & its financing partners are correctly secured & repaid.

- Review purchase & sales contracts ensuring that risks are adequately mitigated.

- Structuring of import L/C’s, back to back L/C’s, & guarantees; handling of documents presented under L/C’s, & payment / monitoring thereof.

- Reviewing, analyzing & negotiating letters of credit & open-account documents.

- Issuing commercial & stand-by letters of credit, amendments, transfers & requests to pay.

- Studies, analyzes reports on trends and opportunities of expansion for future company growth.

- Highly networked with top level contacts in all prime domestic and international banks (preferred) .

- Excellent knowledge of all trade finance options used in countries worldwide while executing import/export transactions.

Qualification & Skill Set

- Masters Degree in Accounting/Finance is a must.

- Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.

- Excellent communications and drafting skills.

- Reasonable knowledge of FEMA Guidelines.

Compensation would be around 5 to 8 LPA & would not be a constraint for deserving candidate.
