Job Description :

- Trade Compliance Officer has management responsibility for trade compliance activities, encompassing both exports and imports

Client Details :

MNC engineering group specializing in aerospace systems and has manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe and America

Description :

- Creating and managing an efficient Trade Compliance program and working knowledge in the region

- Providing day-to-day Trade Compliance support for export and import activities. Review and assess all individual offers, purchase orders and sales orders for both hardware products and services.

- Ensuring that procedures related to trade regulations and reporting requirements including consistent KPI's are in place for all appropriate areas of responsibility and personnel in the Territory.

- Build and maintain an internal audit and a training program to ensure adherence with processes according to Group requirements.

- Maintaining Trade Compliance record keeping in the Territory consistent with programs.

- Ensure various registrations with government agencies are kept up to date as required by the local regulations.

- Manage all Trade Compliance issues for the Territory, such as Export License Determination, licenses management and End User documentation.

Profile

- 3 years minimum experience in Trade Compliance and contract management;

- Good understanding of India customs regulations and international customs standards.

- Strong understanding of India import and export regulations, US EAR and OFAC regulations.

- Experience of dealing with regulatory bodies and understanding of international sanctions mechanisms.

- Demonstrated skills in contract management (T&C's, NDA's and negotiations)

- Technical understanding and knowledge is a plus
